Download the pattern from the String Art Fun website. Print the pattern instructions and cut out the pattern circle.

The plaque is a log slice 14 centimetres wide.

Place the printed pattern on the front of the plaque.

Pointed nose pliers make holding the nails easier.

Tie the wool to nail 1 with a small knot. Take the wool round nail 2, then round nail 3 and so on, following the instructions.

When section 1 is complete tie the wool to nail 1.

Fleur-de-lis string art at String Art Fun — When the design is complete secure the knots with a drop of clear adhesive. Let it dry and trim the excess wool ends.
